fork drain plug

Want to change out the fork oil. The service manual tells me to use an impact wrench to reinstall the drain plug. WTF that could be any torque value. Anyone have a proper torque spec.

Correct, I believe that is because you will have no way to hold the inner assembly from spinning while tightening the screw with traditional manual methods such as a torque wrench if I am not mistaken.

If my memory is correct the allen is a 6mm and i had no issues getting it tight with a ratchet with a good snug tight.... just use good judgement. I've not had them come loose.

Depending on your mileage you may consider changing the seals and bushings as well.

Now I know I am in trouble. The good judgement part is not my strong suit.
Thanks for the info .
