After trying to "cap" this off and it failing horribly. I have been sportin the shitty rubber hose. I hated it!

Went from this small rubber hose on the right (ignore the rear one on the left... that was changed to all stainless)

Now with the hoses that Fat Dog linked me to off ebay I was able to replace the rubber crap to some nice stainless steel braided.. even came with the ends to add that extra touch.

Here's what you get!

Looks Great! .. Nice Touch

Hey, nice work and great idea - how did you find the quality of the hose? it seems to be a really low price.

Works & looks great. It don't really get abused and seems to be holding up great.

That looks great Gas! I'm thinking about losing the rubber hoses and switching to all braided hose like you got....beside the hose you got from that ebay link from Fat Dog....did you get the other braided hose's from Vickie? like for the fuel line.... and over flow to carb?

No problems what so ever, I changed everything over to stainless shortly after purchasing the bike. Looks great and it's inexpensive.

Got most of the stuff off of ebay. It would be nice if someone just made a kit with all the hoses you need to change them all out.

That would be great if someone could provide the size and length so we could all dump the ugly black hose! including the hose that runs between the 2 halfs of the gas tank.

The Carb drain line was found at Lowes in the icemaker section 1/8".
I didn't measure any lines and your bike may be different than mine anyway.

I got the stainless braided cover for the carb over fill drain. I found the link for chopper dave. This LINK is for RC car braided line covering. (This seller)You slip it over your line, cut to length and put the shrink wrap on the ends. Works great and I have had mine on for over a year now.

It's amazing what a difference it can make, when something so minor is upgraded.

I'm suprized the factory or someone else has not come up with a kit with all the hoses in one package for one easy upgrade.

About to purchase all Spectre braided lines for the front & rear ventilation and fuel line. I know the dimensions are 3/8" for rear, 3/16" for front, and 5/16" for the fuel.

Is there a reason why you used 7/32" for the front vent?

Also, how do these magna clamps work? I'm assuming they apply some compression like a clamp and aren't a screw fitting like the AN.

Plan on getting these from Jegs and installing over the holiday. Thanks.
