Yea buddy, came out good.
He has a patent on it:old2::p
Mine came out Great Too! :old2::cheers:

I must say "Mr. Wright" has a great solution to the paint peeling/bubbling problem.
I will post photos of mine on a separate thread.

Shannon this should come to be a widely known solution -- you have saved me $500 on a repaint of the top of my tank! I was gonna say "in stock item" but is better to let people know you can make custom sizes.

Some how if people knew that this works terrific with Landmark or Kuryakan gas caps (and perhaps others)
via website link, Youtube video, or eBay, Amazon, etc...

You really have engineered something simple yet GREAT! :patriot:

UPDATE................. The paint saver ring by Shannon has worked great and looks great. The gas cap/paint saver by Kuryakyn has been a disappointment. First thing to happen is the vent disc dropped into the tank. Apparently it was glued with non-gas resistant glue. Got another one and that one leaks out the vent holes. Not sure if I will try another or look for something else. The chrome and machining are great on the unit, functionality NOT. I thought I had the problem solved, but after a couple fills, the sucker began to leak gas.

Ya, and don't lose the little tool to take it off with. I'd buy a chrome popup to replace it. They work well and will sit almost flat on thee ring.
