Clutch cable

Took cover off.. everything looks good.. no visual chipping away of gears or n e thing like that.. there is however about a little under a quarter inch of play in the gear with the clutch adjustment out

So.. my nut as Eric was stating was loose, I'm gunna get with Donna and get the new updated hardened nut and washer update.. the adjustment with the rod being flush with the jam nut is what got me as to why I posted this, glad I didn't ride with it like this.. could a been a bad outcome when that nut finally came off.. a personal thanks to all of u who chimed and and an extra thanks to Ker for spending the time with me on the phone and getting to know him a bit better!!20170305_111104.jpg

Is that transmission oil leaking?

How loose was it?like spin it with fingers?

Yep been there with fingers for tight...kinda scary. That's why I said red loctite and 150 lbs earlier. If I buy another Big Dog I won't ride it until I take it off and retorque that nut specifically.

I was referring to what ever is that redish liquid around the nut.

Behind that clutch basket is a transmission seal while you got it apart already might want to take a peak at it. And you can check if any play in the transmission shaft.

The easy pull clutch ramp clutch plate.. anyone know anything about these.. Donna is supposed to be calling me back shortly and I wanna make sure I'm on the same page and it's worth the buy

What year did easy pull come standard? I think you may have one already? I thought all the bikes have it from -06 or something??
I hope mine isnt what they feel like.. someone posted something about em a while back and showed pictures to compare em and mine looks like the older style.. mine is an 07

U got a p/n or any information on this updated nut and so on that came loose.. Donna seems lost at what I'm talkin bout
