My suggestion, only based on personal experience is get an ESC from DOC's and be done with it. My bike would have intermittent problems with the PDM (was installed as an upgrade when BD first offered the PDM), original EHC was working fine. I have over 9k trouble free miles, not one electrical issue since I did the install, it's great piece of mind. :old2::old2:

Sounds like it might be an issue with your right hand control board since everything on the left side seems to be working.... Check there first maybe loose.

How can you have no power to the EHC but your lights work? Haha...you mean it won't start?

When you settle down a bit.......Turn the ignition key switch on and take a picture of the lights on the EHC. Maybe a short video. Also, try disconnecting the battery and wait a bit and the hook it back up. While your battery is disconnected, do a load test on the battery to make sure it is healthy.

It's going to be alright Franco. It's just one of those things that happen.

sounds to me like the connector came off for the right side PCB board. 1st place to look, easiest, is to track that cable back from bars to under tank, no need to remove tank unless its all zip tied that tight, and find the connector that plugs into back bone harness and make sure its connect (middle of tank area) - if it is then take the lever assembly apart and see if that connector came off the PCB board - look at the ground wire if the connector is on the board and make sure the contact is not pulled back from the connector. For some reason this wiring is the tightest wiring on the entire bike - not an inch to spare!!
i've had mine come unpluged from both areas. And same symptoms you have now.

Very true...Oh and fantastic customer support, not that it's needed, cause it's problem free...:D
I've got almost 7,000 trouble-free miles on my ESC and couldn't be happier! By far one of the best things I've done to my bike, before I had it, I was always having problems getting stuck on the road, not starting, dying while I'm riding, I tried everything, even bypassed EHC and finally just said screw it, bit the bullet and installed the ESC, my bike has never been on a tender since! Turned my unreliable BigDog into a reliable motorcycle which I have complete confidence in riding anywhere, anytime!:old2::chopper:
