Eric, so... what is the right pressure for even/long lasting wear???

I am running 40 front / 42 rear and yes, the rear wears quickly down the middle... specially because I´ve been doing long H/way rides.

I run mine at 36 LBS and if my dad didn't pick up a nail last year I would probably still keep my current tire and it has about 5.5K I would say it's got another 2K miles left easy.

It wears MUCH better with 36LBS than 42. The first tire I had I kept it religiously at 42 and it looked a Fucking balloon down the middle at only 4K. To me it just flat out looked like it was over inflated so that's when I started to play with the next tire pressures.

I will say that is for me! I have a hunch that heavier guys will need another 1-3PSI. But I dont think north of 40 Is ever needed unless you weigh 600LBs...lol

With that said Franco try 36-38 on your next tire and compare!

I run 40 in the rear cause 98% of my riding is 2 up, at lower pressures and the possibility of hitting a pot hole that might damage the wheel isn't worth it to me. I don't mind 4-5000 miles out of a tire, that's every 2-3 yrs anyway for me and maybe even less since I got the Spyder.:2cents:

I did say north of 40.. Haha but yea I mean hell you could put 60 in there it doesn't wear loading it in and out of the trailer

Who said I move the Dog in and out of the trailer? Its much easier to just leave it in the trailer and back the trailer in the garage:D
