If you have a moment could you post a couple of pics of your kickstands. I believe the angle fa dangle is wrong on mine.something might be worn out inside and I was just double-checking before it breaks and falls over. 15266877702961550567324920233726.jpg 15266878168948399743186735446716.jpg
I don't believe it should go that far forward I think it should line up better with that little cut out and the part that actually bolts to the frame. Any help would be great thank you so much

SKOGDOG

One of the old ones.
Plan 'B' would be to buy one that is an inch longer than stock from Derek and Donna (Shovelheadkicker). My bike has a non-stock front end that is a bit longer, so it leans a bit too much with the stock kickstand.
Plan 'C' ---- Arlen Ness sells an adjustable kickstand, but I don't know anything about them.image.jpeg

Yeah that one sitting just as bad as mine, I think I should be lining up with that notch.

if you look close at the leading edge of the slot in the kickstand, you will probably see a crack at the front of the slot. the mounting bracket tends to work like a wedge and ends up spreading the slot.

Looking forward to retirement
If it needs more angle like mine did , drag specialty makes a wedge to help this. Was thinking of relocating my kick stand like newer models. But then I found my gator!also the wedge can be reversed to decrease the angleBE53C0AA-E0DF-4A98-9F5D-591AFBA3DCC2.png

If the bushing isn't worn real bad and the leg of the kickstand isn't bent out were it bolts onto the mount, you could add a .06 or .09 thick sheet metal piece as I have to keep it from over extending forward. When the sheet metal wears you can just rotate it 180* and your good. The piece I added just lays in there and can't fall out, you can see the ears sticking out on both sides.

Cool that's a great picture I've been to Ace I grabbed a bunch of new bolts I believe I do need a new bushing. I'll order that. What I don't know is should this piece be oblong?15267615744002792645271704663521.jpg

Thank you BWG56. I received the new bushing from Donna. Its not sloppy anymore and the shim is perfect, it lines everything up exactly how it's supposed to be.
