I'd also trace the wires from those circuit breakers -- ideally both should connect to the battery directly and not be in series.
Bike dies when stood up.

Not sure on the wire. Not used. I moved it around and touched it to ground an that didn't initiate the problem. The horn and bracket are pretty solid and don't touch the breaker during movement of the bike.

ok, looking at the BDM manual, with the 2 breakers on the stock 08 k-9 they are bussed together. ie the positive wire goes to one terminal from battery and a solid bar goes from screw of breaker 1 to screw of breaker 2 right next to it on the EFI.
Your breakers look funky.The carb version shows only 1 breaker, not two.
I'd start there and figure out why one was added and if possible go back to just one.

Personally at this point I'd pull the tank off and startt chasing/ohming out the wiring harness and find any unneed wiring from the old leds and pull it if not using it.
Get a long gas hose so you can start bike with tank off, sitting nest to the bike (a height that it is now since its gravity feed).

Yeah. I'm not sure. Maybe two breakers cause of the AIH wiring harness. Trying to look at it now. Not saying it is right or wrong, but this is how it was when I bought it and it was running with no issues.

Ok. Wow. I think I found it. But only by accident. The license plate frame was grounding it out. Yes some wires had frayed for the light. So when the fram was folded in towards the bike, it would touch the frame leading down. While the bike was on I accidentally touched the license plate frame and made it bump the bike frame and sure enough, the bike glitched. So I fixed the wiring and got it back together. I still need to sinch the wires down, put the side covers back on and try to ride it. So far it hasn't glitch yet.

Thank you to everyone who helped me with the trouble shooting. I really do appreciate it. It was a big help and assisted me in learning more about the bike. I’ll take it for a test ride tomorrow. Time for supper.

That is one problem with these bikes, 1 grounded hot wire, and the bike just shuts down. Found that out with a wire going to my back lights, wire ground out from tire rubbing it bare. That was after I replaced my struts to attach the sissy bar, 35 miles from home.

I just checked the website and it says it's the 14 - 15th? However the Khaki Ball is 29Sep and I have already purchased tickets. It's kinda expected to have all the Chiefs there.
