Rear Tire Offset/rubbing 06 Mastiff

Can anyone tell me before I tear this down, what this is, a part number, it’s purpose, does it have internal adjustment threads….I’m trying to gather all the consumables and possibly damaged parts before I get into this to keep time on the lift as short as possible. I know the manual can’t show every possible detail of these motorcycles but this seems fairly important. I have a new axle shaft and bearings. While I have the tire and wheel off, I will check the wheel bearings and the lateral and radial runout of the wheel before reinstalling it.

On my 06 mastiff the bolt goes through the fender into the signal light. Let me know if you need any pics.

yeah that’s what I’m going with now, got new signals already and the bolt head is all that’s exposed inside the fender like the OEM. THANKS

If I didn’t know better I would say someone had that rear end apart and fucked that bushing up with a pipe wrench trying to get the swing arm off. Just from appearances. Idk…

My thoughts exactly. The manual indicates anti seize use on most of the swing arm pivot hardware…
