I appreciate the info !Yep, that's definitely an upgrade. I would put it in. It takes about 10-15 minutes. Some guys say it adds performance. I'm not sure about that, but it makes the engine smoother. You will notice it. Most use setting 2 or 3. I think it has more initial advance too. I had to turn my idle down after install. It also has a feature to build your own advance curve if you ever do extensive engine work (if you can find a competent dyno operator). I'll probably never use this feature, but it's nice to know it is there.
If you install it, there is an issue that happens occasionally. Sometimes the tach will read half or double what it is supposed to be. If this happens, you need the software and cable to go in and change the tach calibration. If it's "0", change to "1". If it's "1", change to "0".
