Looking to buy a wheel chock for my trailer, looked up post and seems it's between harbor freight with cutting the cradle down or Condor Sc2000. What I can't find feom searching is on the Condor site, they have the SC2000 for $219, but they say for choppers to add the "chopper cradle" for another $75. Is this what you guys that have Condor did or is that extra part not needed? I have an 06 Ridgeback. Any Info would help.

Currently I am using an open lawn trailer. I strap the front wheel to the horizontal frame rail. Absolutely no movement.
I plan on getting an enclosed trailer, which will change my mounting option.
For the cost of the SC2000 you could buy a cheap stick welder from Harbor Freight and build a custom mount. Which is my plan.

I have an enclosed trailer, wish I was crafty enough to do that but I'm not too good at welding. Thought about the harbor freight chock but not sure how much I'd need to cut for the ridgeback

I have Harbor Freight Pittsburgh 1800 lb capacity Motorcycle Stand/Wheel Chock $69.99 It's similar to Condor. I have one mounted on my lift and one inside my trailer. It's a one man job getting your bike stabilized. Adjustable cradle stop to fit most wheels. I have 06 Pitbull

With an enclosed trailer, give the Biker Bar a look. Not as cheap as HF but ur bike will NEVER fall or move. Best trailer investment Ive made.

From what I read I would need to cut it down to fit on the Ridgeback just not sure how much

I see what your saying the front fender on the Ridgeback is lower and possibly when you run over the cradle the back side of the cradle may catch the fender. Someone with a Ridgeback and the harbor freight product may chime in. The cradle on the Harbor freight wheel chock is reversible, one end is shorter than the other but if reversing the cradle would it take away the integrity of the wheel chock? I don't remember the manufacturer offering this information. The cradle remains stationary but will reverse. On this unit the wheel stop at the end of the unit is the adjustable part for the wheel size. On the condor I believe it's the cradle that adjusts for the wheel size.

Ok, so the only way the condor will work without cutting it is if I buy the additional chopper cradle? If so, I might get the harbor freight for now and cut that one. Biker bars looks good but at $400 I might have to wait for awhile on that one

Check with Mr. Wright he does have the HF Wheel Chock mounted about 6 to 8 inches off the HF Table Lift. He should be able to advise you for the Ridgeback fender clearance and harbor freight is $69.99 for the Pittsburg 1800 lb capacity Motorcycle Stand/Wheel Chock.

I have a ‘04 ridgeback and I took the cradle off. Hits the fender. Don’t need it as far as I can tell. Especially not for $75. extra

I don’t understand why you would have to cut the condor?

The bottom part of the front fender hits the stock cradle. Cutting about an inch off the leading edge allows clearence for the bottom of fender as it rolls onto the chock and the chock rotates upward to cradle the tire.

I have 2 condor chocks, one regular and one for a chopper. The difference is the chopper is made for a skinny tire, the reason u have to cut the condor chopper mount a lil is because of the rear of the front fender, it comes down the tire a long ways. Not much clearance between tire and fender. The chock rest against the tire and when u drive over it, it barely goes inside the fender. On the K9 I have the fender is a half moon shape in the rear so the chock would rub the outer edge of the fender, SO all I did was cut the edges off the chock to make a “spike” hopefully u can see in the pics. A pic if the regular condor too for my Harley, u can see how wide it is for a wider front tire and most of their fenders don’t come down the rear of the 81EF2DB4-3BD1-4C90-A333-E610CE36E109.jpeg5910990B-CFDB-48D0-8C10-0831A7FAD67F.jpegtire. BTW they work great
