585 Cam Install on '09 K9

Energy One
Man, i have a gas milage question. After reading this?

on a full tank of gas, i only get 82 miles , then i'm on empty. What gives.
i've got no buffels in. Running super E carb (not sure of needes within)
and grumpie twisted sister pipes on 117ci chopper dog, riding 2 up.

Am i just running it too hard. (twisting the throttle, all the time?)

I have been mostly off the forum due to my wife having a very involved spinal fusion surgery 3 weeks ago. She had correction of Spondylolisthesis of L5, ruptured disc removal on L5, trimming of disc on L4, synovial cyst removal on L4, and fusion of L4-S2. Its been a hard row to hoe around here for both her(patient) and me(care giver).

On a brighter side, many thanks for all the positive feedback you guys are throwing my way. Glad to be a help to you guys.

Franco, I had faith in ya!

.585 cam in 08 EFI

Nice post. I am considering a .585 cam install in my EFI 08 K-9. My question is, am I going to need to re-program the fuel injection with this upgrade? If so, I am not sure who would have software in my area?
was there a reply to this i would like to know the same info, can you just throw in this cam and be done , or do you have to adjust anything else?

Some of the EFI boys should respond to this, if not go over to one of those threads and ask, I personally can't help ya.

Being a visual learner myself as most men are, I thought I would post up the install of the S&S .585 cam in my K9.
Begin by raising the rear wheel off the ground so that you can rotate the wheel later on, remove the seat, the plugs, side covers, air filter and the exhaust.
Now get out on the road and enjoy the fruit of your labor.
Hey Steve, if you like I can send you the missing pics... I did save your "How To" in PDF years ago.
