I would say those are slammed all the way down. Can't remember if my 03 had adjustable shocks..... to long ago now! To adjust the ones you have you will need to remove them and then screw out the end piece. Just make sure they are both even when you put them back together. You might want to contact Works Performance if you don't notice a minimum setting on them so you don't pull them apart too far.If so how so? Looks like a spacer is on there to me? It sits too low for me, drags on both sides while turning.
The person I bought it from said it was lowered 2" so at some point someone put adjustable shocks on it. It rides very good, however I scrape on corners sometimes. I spent the morning repositioning my exhaust to give me more clearence on the right side.I would say those are slammed all the way down. Here are my 05 shocks and they are not adjustable as you can see.
Gabreil, I don't know if the 06 shocks will fit your bike or not, but I have a used set that I took of my 06 Mastiff. They are still good, about 1K to 1200 miles on them. I replaced mine with a heavy duty set, which I didnt really need had I adjusted the ones I had properly. :bang::bang:If so how so? Looks like a spacer is on there to me? What does that mean? Those have been rigged!
That picture was taken with the rear tire off the ground. bike was on a lift.Yeah that doesn't look right to me. Looks like he rigged those nuts in there as spacers to get it lower. Take the shocks off and see if you can get those nuts outa there. I'm not sure what you'll need to get the shock apart. To raise it back up, you need to get the clevis ends closer to the shock body.
I was just looking at them again before I read this and came to the same conclusion. They weren't cut in the same location either not to mention that the one on the right isn't even straight. That's going to be your weak spot now. Those shocks take a beating.I took them off and discovered that someone had cut those shafts drilled them tapped them and installed a stud.
The previous owner did not even change his own oil. He gave me the name of the shop and the tech that has been doing the maintenance on it. He also told me the previous owner lowered it.I was just looking at them again before I read this and came to the same conclusion. Keep an eye on Shovelheadkicker on eBay as he always has a set of these listed.
Oh, I would give the rest of the bike a good "going over" just to ensure the previous owner didn't fuck with anything else.

If you look closely at the pictures above you can see that one of the cuts is in a different place than the other (nice job):bang:
So i did away with the nut and washer threaded the pieces together as far as they would go, set the length and now the bike is at stock height.
It came up in the rear about two inches and does not scrape on normal corners! success!
I have no idea why someone would do something like that to a bike this nice.
I'm looking for some replacement shocks, hopefully the adjustable ones posted above will fit? I can't stand half assed shit!!
