Never heard of this technology before, if it works it woud be great. I guess we'll have to see.

I use a battery tender on everything with a battery, bikes, car, even the riding mower. Never have battery problems and they sit out in the cold (in the garage) all winter!

I had to use one on my 02 boxer or it wouldn't start after a week. Then I put an HD battery in it and never used one again.

I don't have one on my k9 either and it starts fine. I am sure they make the battery last longer, but I just get tired of plugging them in w/ the chord in the way. I have bad luck with the tender dieing on me, although it was only $40. I figure if I don't need why bother. I don't mind buying a new battery every few years.

I have been known to change my mind though. Lena might have me sold!

eh....the same plug for the tender is used for my heated gear.

And yes, I use heated gear in Texas. If I can ride comfortably in 40 degree weather, why not? Lowest I have been is 28 degrees. It was 70 in the suit.

I have an 06 K9 with the original battery mfg 3/06. Always on a tender and still 100% on a load charge the other day!

If your having to recharge B4 riding you'll be replacing a battery soon , they last much longer if you keep her on a tender , if it's gonna be a few days between rides hook it up .
ps , keep an eye on your hex head bolts holding your tank on tha frame , bad for disappearing.

I have the BatteryMinder on the group buy page at $44.95. It is a top of the line float charger with the pulse technology to reduce sulfation. Have sold many to forum members over the last couple years.
