My phantom pipes I got on ebay were silver ceramic. A local shop dipped them then receramiced(?) them in a flat black on the outside. It took them 2 tries but they eventually came out great. All for $115. In my opinioin the combination of flat black with chrome heat shield looks great. Your pipes are going to be bad ass when their done Gas.

Well I called about 5 different places some of which were recommended here. I went to a local guy 5 mins from my work. All the prices were within $10 of each other at $160-$170. So I went with the local guy cause at that price its also inside & out coating. Exotic Coatings in Romulus, MI. They do work for Stepheson Cycle and Detroit Bro's and some other more local custom builders. They were helpfull and and seem to know their stuff. Went with a matte black over a flat black. Not so dull but not shiny.

But with all these links this is still a KILLER THREAD!

I know this was an old post, but have you heard of Custom Concepts Performance Coatings and Components in Detroit. They are in our back yard, and did a really nice rush job for me last summer. Black ceramic coated my pipes, turned out great!
