Clutch hub

Energy One

SKOGDOG

One of the old ones.
Here is a page from the manual for my K9. There is usually one steel plate that is thicker (0.120”) than the others—it goes in first. All the steel plates have a ‘sharp‘ edge, easily determined by feeling the teeth. All of them should be installed with the sharp edge towards the transmission. If you bought a new clutch pack, most wrenches soak them in primary oil before installation. Many use ATF In the primary, as the the oil lubes your primary chain.
I have a transmission in Blacktopper’s shop and it needs the bearings replaced. Stay tuned for guidance on that upcoming project! Haha Gonna need presses and special tools, etc. Oughta be fun!! But if you have play in your transmission input shaft, you’ll have a problem sooner or later (and looking at your clutch hub, I’d think you have a problem). If you can move it enough so your eye can see the movement, it’s going to be a problem.

Hey, as long as all cuts are in the one way direction, it does not matter. The one guy that reversed his cuts towards the trans still has the fastest trap/ET... you call the ball... cough, it's the rider not the clutch in this one event.

There's a 12 plate and a 9 plate. On the 9 plate all the steels are the same size.

So if you got 9 you'll never find a thicker one no matter how hard you look..haha
