Electrical Issue

so I take it this means you got it going? Get me your old module, I'll take it apart and see if I may be able to replace a component and get it working so you can have an extra one or sell it.

Ok well it did not end up being the EHC, after nighttrain came over and pointed out a few things and showed me some gret tech tips. we determined it to be the ignition module. i did go buy the stock part. i am still considering the EHC Wire plus kit, and changing over to Dyna style module for reliability purposes. For now i want to ride. thanks mike.
That poor ole EHC is always getting the blame!!!

I was really looking at buying a "newer" dog this spring. But it seems like alot of electrical problems with the newer ones. Mine is "vintage-00" and pretty much rock solid electrical wise. few bugs here and there just to keep me interested. But really simple....too put it mildly..almost like an H-D. I sure doo like them fat tires thou

I am trying!

This is what going on NOW, i put the new module on, rode it yesterday, does great at cruising speed, but when i get on it, i get bot 2500-3000 RPM, it is like it hits a rev limiter, cuts out bad. i on vacation today and i am going to take it to Big Dog and let them listen, i hoping it just programed wrong for my bike. I have checked timing it ok at idle.
Mike i will get that old one too you. thanks again.
peace!
