My very first 07 fuel injected Bull dog. It always starts but smells very gassy, almost like its flooding. Any idea's what might be causing this? Have new plugs, new twisted 10mm wires.

Are you smelling it in general like new gas or from the exhaust. Is it all the time or right after you gas up ? I also know that fuel injection bikes use different plug wires than a carb bike since you mentioned the new wires. Did this just start after the plugs and wires? More info is helpful in diagnosing. Check fuel lines and the obvious stuff first

Have you tried to reset the VFI ?... So to reset you VFI follow these instructions.

Turn the key switch on then hit the run button on the handle bars but DO NOT START the bike. Let it set that way and dont touch nothing for about 10 seconds.... then turn the key switch off and wait 1 full minute before turning the key switch back on.... Once it has set for 1 minute with the key switch off then turn the key switch on and hit the run button and then start the bike....sometimes you have to do the steps above a few times for this to work.

Another thing is if your battery is a little weak and not super hot efi bike will also do what you are describing...these efi bikes are more sensitive to a lower voltage...hot battery always with the bikes and keep them on a battery tender...efi bikes will have a small voltage drain on them I have noticed compared to carb bikes

'07 with how many miles on it? Old plugs look sooty black? Might try an injector cleaner to the gas tank. Might be a stuck open plunger just enough to soot.

Say one plug looks tan, the other is black. That might narrow it down to the one injector. Gummy says a low miler. Example is 18yrs with 14k miles. So that's like 777 miles a year ridden. Sits a lot.

My fuely 9 started exhibiting same.....as you were in the vicinity of the fuel line connection at engine I'd check there. That hose clamp sees a weird angle and can nick that line without spewing fuel.....I just nipped off the last 1/2" and reattached.....
