Hmm, that is strange. With the right jets, that shouldn't happen. With that said, I had a few issues like this with the S&S carb. I'm with liferider. Installed a mikuni, and never had a problem.

Milco, do you know what jets the shop installed? Did they have a dyno? A cough at a steady speed definitely sounds like a too small intermediate.

I will ask, I thought a .84. They have a dyno but the Dog doesn't fit lol.
He is working over 30 years on big twins and dragrace V8's.
I will try this weekend again, he told me on his testdrives over 100 and 120 km/h the Dog worked well....

Most guys on here are running 31-34 intermediate jets. Being in Holland at sea level, and the dual runner intake, you should probably be on the high side of this range.
