Need a VR I believe

Well I followed your advise DRBarnhart. I tested the brkr and it tested good. So I went back to the VR and did all the tests and found it was bad. I had a new one ready to put on and guess what....................... works like a charm. battery before starting the engine was about 12.8v when at idle its at 13.5 and crack at the throttle was 14.43v. Ready to ride this weekend. Will be changing engine oil, filter and primary fluid. Again thanks for advise and help! Time to ride!!!!!

Well replaced the VR still no change on the brand new battery when cracking the throttle.

Well, I'm a little confused but it's good to hear the dog is barking again! :2thumbs:

Sorry I did leave out one little detail. I had the new VR connected but not bolted up to bike. DUUUHHHHHH. It was not grounded. Yes the old VR was bad. Thanks again
