Hey guys
I'm wiring up a chopper and I'm using a wire plus 193 harness
STARTER RELAY
I have the main harness leads all good
I have red lead which goes to main breaker all good
I have green lead which goes to starter solenoid all good
On the instruction sheet there is a black ground lead coming off the green wire to the starter solenoid
Do I need to splice a ground wire on to green solenoid wire .
Or am I missing something here

There is a red ...goes to breaker
There is a green ....goes to solenoid
8 wires in main harness
No black wire to ground

Ok, that's a bad drawing from them.

I'd plug that connector in and attach the red wire to the battery and use a volt meter to watch for power on the green wire. If you get power in the green wire ONLY when you press start, wire it up to the starter solenoid.
I think the ground the relay needs is in the connector (looks like duestch connector)
Very badly written and drawn notes.
