Oil pressure gauge question

:bang:FYI, I bought the 40-0500-VT White 0-60 Pound Oil Pressure Gauge for Harley Big Twin & XL Sportster and it didn't last to and from work (approximately 28 miles). The rubber plug and fluid are gone and it showed 0 psig by the time I got to work. It still reads bouncing between 25 and 30 lbs but I will be trying the Autometer #2173 0-60 lbs #649025 next.

hi spadesluck! that adapter is around 7-8 bucks. if i remember right my fitting for that
same setup was -3 to 1/8npt adapter. most oil guages are 1/8 NPT thread.

Personally I would never run my bike without the idiot lite. I also don't want it on top of the tappet screen that I pull and clean all the time. I just use the common fitting that allows you to run both. Remember to keep it away from your exhaust pipe, many have melted them.

I just PM, Mcgroom to see about getting me one like you have Raywood. Just what I am looking for...
Thanks,
Neil
