Ok can't start our 2001 mastiff

These S&S 107's without compression releases take a lot of juice to start. They are hard on batteries and starters. Mine was getting hard to start so i got a new battery. Still would barely turn over. Got a new, better, starter from Wildsteedworx and problem solved. Definitely get a Braille battery or similar. As previously mentioned, check the charging system for proper function.

Yes been looking at new batteries we are in new zealand. Have been told to get a lithium battery. Is that correct.

There are battery discussions on this forum you may want to check out. Most seem to favor Braille Harley (Deka), andTomioka brands.

Mmmmmmm ok I may have to buy from overseas then. There was a guy on here from nz who has a big dog and he has a deka and has had no problems with it. May get that first.

Wahoo new battery is bloody awesome. Starts every time. Took her for a long ride scrapped the shit out of the stand so we are going to move that so we can get around left hand corners lol

Awsome glad it has helped you. did you get a trickle charger as well as it will be a big help when the bike isn't being used.

Yes I did m8 thanxs. Hey I was having a bit of a debate with this guy and he says that the big dog mastiff is also a big dog mutt they are both the same bike is this correct
