SHIPPING ADVICE NEEDED

Energy One
Well I finally made the plunge. Only need to dot the "i's" and cross the "t's". The Harley is tenatively sold and the big dog chopper is coming in! I've been waiting 30 years for this.

Can I get some reccomendations on who I can trust to ship it with out potential problems.

From Butte, Montana to Erie Pa.

Here she is;

Nice looking bike. Congrats!!

When I shipped my bike to Daytona this year from here in Washington St I used Shipping Masters. It was $830.

Added; I should mention that this company is a brokerage company that will go out and fine you the best deal or meet all your requirements. And they do require the company to crate the bike.

I would probably think it's more expensive now due to fuel prices!

SWEET!!!!

I just had one shipped from Colorado to Michigan. You have to be careful, some require the bike be crated before it ships and if it is over 104 inches you get charged 135 extra:down:

I went with Motorcycle Shipping Company: Daily Direct Motorcycle Transportation it was 707 bucks! that is with 20000 insurance, they pick it up and deliver to were you want it.:2thumbs: No extras for over 108 inches. (K9 is 108)

They did me good

They wanted over 1000 to ship mine from Colorado to Michigan, then decided that they couldn't because I couldn't crate it, and extra 135 for over 104 inches.
I hate that for ya.!! All I can attest to, they did me good.!!! Very helpful and polite folks.!!!

Help is here, on the forum

I hear ya, just in case. I don't know the length of the chopper.:D
That shouldn't be all that hard to learn. Can't the guy you bought it from give you those dimensions??? There's lot of guys here with identical scoots that would help I'm sure.!!!

Doesn't the BD website give those dimensions also??

Good luck dude and post some pics once you get that baby home.!!!

I wish I had more money.
Try uship.com . They are brokers of sorts. I used them to ship mine from SC to Mo and it cost 350.00. You go on and tell them what you have where it is and where it is going and people that haul shit bid on you. You pick the one that best suits your needs and wha-la. It is at your house.Give it a shot none the less and let me know how it works out for you.
