How's it going? Any updates?
Had it running after cleaning the fuel system, new fuel line, vacuum out tanks, clean petcock screen, carb. Might've not been the problem to start with! Pulled the dash and see the ignition module doesn't flash, and no spark at the plugs! A very nice friend has offered to send me an ignition module to see it that fixes things. If that or the cam senser doesn't fix things it's gonna get a whole new ignition system.

UPDATE. !!! On the road again ! I wanna thank all you people that tried to get me going again, and a special THANK YOU to MrWright for the critical part he shipped me! All along I was chasing fuel related problems, only to find it was the ignition module ! (At least I've got a clean fuel system) but the important thing is I'llget to ride with you all in Kansas !!!! Stay Safe all!

Cool yea once you spilled the beans you only had 8v at the coil I knew we wernt talking about fuel anymore :)

I assumed it was a short somewhere but glad to hear your back in action. Surprised really those Thunderheart units don't fail to often. Although I actually ran into a grounding issue on the unit and actually just ran an isolated ground from the battery to one of the ignition mounting bolt to get the unit to turn on and it's been like that for 3 years. Runs flawlessly.

I'd like to go to the Vulcan dual coil setup soon so I'll change out the whole ignition then. Maybe this winter I can do that mod.

If nothing else you could have brought your bike there and I'm sure we have fun drinking and trying to figure it out. Lol

I'm just glad that it decided to quit here at home (within 25 miles anyhow) instead of hauling it 10 hours plus to the festivities and then quitting on me. We might've ended up drinking and beating the thing to pieces with clubs! See ya in Kansas, and be careful on the way there!
