How did ya make out Stacey? did you get a chance to pull out your 2 ehc plugs and clean + put dielectric grease in them?

I am going to check it out Saturday. We just had a new building built at work and will be moving in it in a few weeks. Have an open house to attend tomorrow........busy busy :willy_nilly: so Saturday it is. :2thumbs:

Ok so I unplugged and cleaned the connections on the ehc with no luck. I still have the same issues left turn signal turns on the flashers and they won't cancel until you turn off the key :bang:. When the right turn signal is hit nothing happens. I think I am doomed.......time to get rid of the ehc:angry:. Winter project here I come. Thanks everyone for all the info and tips. :2thumbs:

Sorry to hear your issues with the turn signals. This is a first that I have heard pointing to an EHC problem. I would take both handlebar signal controls out and clean and inspect prior to replacing the EHC. Did the bike sit outside before you bought it?
FYI, I think Jake is doing a Group buy on WP and he modified it so it is easier to install.
Just remember, if it is a handlebar control issue, putting in a WP isn't going to solve this as far as i know.

This bike was a repo and I think it might have been left outside for a short time. The bolts on the handlebar controls have a slight bit if light rust around them. I am going to replace a lot of that next year. I am going to try to get the wires plus this winter during the dog down time.

maybe try and take your hand controls apart and see if there is any damage or corrosion on the wires for your turn signals

Stacey, sounds like you have the opposite problem to me. I have to hold my buttons in to activate the turn signals, and release it to turn it off, dame pain if your negotiating a corner.
Only had the bike a week, wish i had found this forum before hand.
