Yes, the tail does wag...... :) and this is my third taillight... but I think I now have a recipe for success. The taillight you see is a plastic LED and weighs about nothing.... so I attached it with heavy duty Velcro and so far... all is good.

View media item 9160View media item 9159View media item 9158View media item 9157View media item 9156View media item 9154View media item 9161I have done some mods ... added rear taillights LED (also acting as DRL and flashing stop lights), a belt buckle to cover the lower dash mount; a crankcase breather off of the heads; flush mount gas caps; rewired from the taillight forward to the ECH; and made a little tool for adjusting the idle speed. Also wrapped by handgrips with tennis racquet handle tape (my wife's idea :)

Steel fender... so I like it better than fiberglass... more sturdy.
That wasn't the stock fender on the bulldogs was it? I'm not too familiar with the models pre 02. Not that it matters it looks nice, was just curious.

Must be just an aftermarket Harley softail type?

not sure.... I have a rear tire 180/55 16, .. but with the fender has a 'big tire' look.. I know the short fender and big tire was occurring previous to '00 .... so maybe this one is just a 'one off' single build

I think it's aftermarket but you could be right could have been a customer request. Looks good though I like it anyways and paint is cool!

This looks more Big Dog stock style.
