Compression release

I just wanta ride
When on a toy run today and this is what came out of the rear rocker Box center my compression release Bike ran good could tell I was losing a little bit of power Can anybody tell me what's left in the center of the rocker Box obviously I'm gonna go head and replace both

Yeah my front one is pulsating along with the compression strokes as I ride I guess I'll be replacing both

Yep, seen a few of those.
The little screw comes out and that assembly is free to slide out.
The solenoid and a small screw are left in there.

Compression release
You can also rent the removal tool, select that option before putting the item in your cart, if you don't have it and don't want to buy it.
 
Is it some way to check them and catch it before it does that?

General maintenance
Pull them out, I know it ain't easy but it is what it is, and check them.
I have found a few on my customer's bikes that were letting go.
Pull them apart, clean them and reassemble with Loc-tite Clean N Prime and Hi Heat Red thread locker.
Of course there is no really good way to tell if the solenoid is going bad electrically.
I am, slowly but surely, working on getting a rebuild kit together for them that will be about half the price of buying them new.

Pull them apart, clean them and reassemble with Loc-tite Clean N Prime and Hi Heat Red thread locker.

Hummmmm interesting.... I have to work my rear one with my finger every time I start the bike or a big CLUNK goes off in the starter pinion!!!! Already broke it once (the starter shaft that is).
Well this seems to be a "Very" common issue! I am definitely changing mine when I tear it down to do the top end this winter! Ker say's his is "like new" now and that was causing all the hard starting issues the whole time!

If your going to pull them out to check them your best to just replace them, I would not try to rebuild them cause you never know when they are just going to wear out electrically. The first time you take them out and try to get them back in there you will see what I'm talking about.

Can i just take them out and buy new s&s easy start cams.
