One thing about me is I dont give a dam, I run with what the good lord gave me and dont look back, Now that being said, BLOW ME,
I can't help but ask why a Big Dog has to vibrate so bad. I understand Dogs shake. But, I have to tell you my 1968 BSA Chopper vibration is equivalent to new Dog vibration. There is no reason to vibrate this bad after 40 years of progress. QUOTE]
There's your problem. You believe that the air-cooled V-twin has made any progress in the last 40 years.
Big Dog vibrations are not for everyone, perhaps you should spend the weekend test riding bikes that will be acceptable to you.It is not acceptable to me to have to put up with the idea that this is a dog and it shakes!
+1 Well put, knotsoI, for one, love the feel of my Big Dog. :2thumbs:
However, what I do find unacceptable, is coming onto this forum, spouting off about what most of us love about these bikes and what is unacceptable to you and so on. Yet, it is acceptable to you to show a complete lack of respect to the forum members by not posting an INTRO before bitching. WTF??
Peace, Out.

The alure of these bikes is the mix of old school and modern.
A victory or a honda fury may be more acceptable to your thougts on what you percieve a motorcycle should be after 40 years of progress.

+1 :up:some people introduce themselves before opening their mouths, some people butt in without the courtesy of an introduction.
Nuke,I apologize for offending anyone. I do plan on a K-9 one day in my stable. I will have to rework the bike to reduce any vibrations to within my tolerance levels so I can ride 500 miles a day and feel good about it. I didn't feel an introduction was warranted yet. FYI, I own 3 Triumphs and a BSA. I am of the opinion that each bike serves a specific need.
