My pegs vibrate a bit at 70 or above but mirrors are fine, my top motor mount once came loose and it went to shit, vibrated bad!
On the pegs for long trips I install about 7 inches of cycle tubing over my pegs and bunch it all up, stays put, cuts about 50% of vibration off of feet and no more feet slipping off of pegs at 70 mph. I can send anyone interested a pic if need be. It took me a while to get it figured out but it is a quick fix, slips on and off easily and works freaking awesome!

I'm difinitly interested thumper....because I don't care how tight you make those mounting bolts your feet still want to slip off the pegs....I makes for a bad long road trip because all your doing is trying to stay on the pegs...it really sucks...and the mirrors vibrate like crazy....it becaomes a brutal and unpleasent ride....

as stated in another thread, something to check is "do you have any oil on the bottom of your riding boots?" stopping at gas stations that sell diesel, stopping at toll booths, just stopping at red lights and putting your feet down, you will get residue on the soles and it makes it hard as hell to keep your feet on the pegs whether they are polished or rubber. look for the simple fixes first. they usually work.

my bike doesn't vibrate any more than my fat boy did. i have gotten rid of the honda looking mirrors that came on it, put smaller tribals on it, and can see out of them good as can be expected on the highway at high speeds.

I found two bolts underneath and two up front and the three on the coil cover .... is there more under there somewhere? The two I found was loose ... and I think that's what was causing the vibration ... my top motor mount to the frame is still tight ... I still don't trust it ... came out twice so far ... :D :job:

I see the kids running around town on their little electric scooters they say they don't vibrate at all. Maybe some of you on hear might ought to try one of them.
