on my 2004 chopper the left side back turn signal is loose and hanging down. works fine just loose and hanging down. I tried to figure out how I could get to it and the mechanic tried everything to find a simple way to gain access to the bolt that holds it on. Neither can find a quick way to get to it without spending a few hours. Anyone else ever have this problem or any suggestions on what I could do? thanks

I don't know about the 04s but my 05 you just reach under the fender and the bolt up.

Not sure about the '04 either but if you can't tighten it up by reaching under the fender, then you'll need to take off the plastic lense cover, carefully pull out the light board and you should be able to tighten from the inside. The light board is only seated by a rubber gasket surrounding the board. Use a small/micro screwdriver to pry it out. You should see a small gap in the outside edge of the board where you can place the screwdriver to begin prying.

Yeah, what BB said. I have an '04 Chopper, and that's exactly how you tighten it up!

cheers!

If you will take some WD40 on the rubber gasket before you put it back in it will just slide :D right into place.:job:
