Reaper: Mine fogs if its humid, period. I picked my bike up from the dealer after having it replaced the 2nd time, and it was fogged before I got home (sunny day). How are you guys getting fogging in your speedo's? Is it after you wash it, or ride in the rain? I had my original replaced because the needle would just bounce up, and down, but I never had fogging issues with either one.
That sucks, I guess I have been pretty lucky with mine so far. My first, and second one didn't have any fogging issues. Gets pretty humid here in St. Louis, maybe not humid enough.Reaper: Mine fogs if its humid, period. Muggs, On my 05 chopper I used to have my tach lights cut out on me all the time, mostly after longer rides over an hour. I would just shut it down and restart it again and the tach would be functional. I thought for sure it was a problem with my EHC but was willing to live with it as a minor inconvenience. Afterwards I replaced my handlebars with some ridgeback bars putting some di-electric grease on the tach connector when I reassembled it and no further problems. Don't know if this is just coincidence but time will tell.I just noticed that my LED tachometer is not working. Has anyone else had this problem?
FYI - Couple of days ago I bought the identical autometer - J&P Cycles has them for about $200. It will be here Tue and it should be plug and play. I'll let you know how it works out as soon as I plug her in. Lambo I went to jp cycle page looked at the autometer. What year of bigdog are you installing this on? Did you get info from jp that this unit will fit bigdogs remember they use jst connectors. Good price if it fits and allows you to plug in all bd connection into to speedo head.Let us know 05chop
