Get back whip

Anyone here ride with one? Is it useful or more of a novelty item? I know there have been times I wish I had something handy...
Let me know your experience and times you've actually used it

I use Pennies. Keep'em in both vest and leather jacket pockets. And will throw a hand full at a car at a moments notice. Plus if someone is riding your ass, just lob them over your shoulder!!!!!!! They make One hell of a racket on car glass & the hood! Usually pop's the front windshield!

Way too many stupid fuckups out there to be throwing shit to break their windshield. They just asoon run over your ass than give you respect. Road rage while you're on 2 wheels is a dangerous game to play. Believe me, I know. Been there, done that, got the road rash from it.

All the Pennies do is divert there attention for 1-2 seconds for them to get over or back off. Then you better get on the side of the road FAST!!!!

They are leather whips that attach to the clutch lever or handle bars that have a quick release on one end that is metal.

They used to be woven in club colors and were used to hit car doors,windows,etc with the metal end if a car/truck would come into your lane while riding,cut you off etc.

I dont like the idea of being close enough to a car/truck to use it if they where trying to mow me over:down: I would rather have distance in my favor.

Seems as I figured. More for looks and no one really uses them.
I have put small rocks or pebbles in my pockets, but haven't done so in a long time...not sure why....maybe getting forgetful these days?

I found out BB's work excellent. Put about ten in your palm and let em rip or slowly flick one at a time over your shoulder and they think your kicking up rocks and back off. Then move over and give em one of these

I 've heard them called "cager whips" and every person I have seen with one looks like a big dumb asshole or bully type. As if pulling out your little whip is gonna prove something. On two wheels you stand to loose every time you tangle with a car or truck. Stupid idea, stupid product, for stupid people in my opinion.:down:

Yea I had a guy in front of me with a set of whips on his levers and his stop light kept coming on. I passed him and flipped him off. We stopped at the same place to gas up and he came over. I told him it was my way of saluting assholes who keep braking at 70 MPH. He took the whips off and gave me a thumb up. And that is how the fight almost got started. :lol:

+1 If I saw you with these I would instantly think you were a fucktard. If you broke my windshield because you didn't like the way I was driving, I would either shoot a hole in your gas tank or your tire.
