I put these Martin Brothers Medustas on and there fregin awsome. Loud but not to where you cant hear yourself think. I was going to pull the baffels out before I put them on but decided to leave them in and it was perfect, I also think that it should give me a good amount of back pressure. I am putting an Arlean Ness 90 degree filter on this weekend and will take it to Rick Fairless to get it jetted and tunned in. I have built a lot of 1/4 drag cars in the past and back pressure is key to a strong long lasting motor, just my 2 cents.:2thumbs:

Ditch those downtube stickers!
Thanks Gas Man, already done and all the reflectors. Will have the new air cleaner on this weekend and then willl come the coil/key replacement. Have you heard of anyone trying to us a K9 swing arm to get a 300 on the chopper? Just thinking ahead. Got my mirrors on and soon will have the seat maker do me up as soon as I think of somthing that complements my bike but not to just add more flames.
I have got so many "nice Bike" and "Is that custom" since I removed the reflectors and stickers and added the exhaust and mirrors.

Easy, would just take a new frame with swing arm, new wheel set (wider), fender, struts, seat, sissybar set if you want it, and new tranny offset. May need new inner primary (spacing) but not sure on that one. Oh, and maybe new pipes!

:D

My signature was from a website I came across looking for my bike. Kind of use it now in my everyday thought proccess. Used it with my wife to help me use as many dollars as I did to buy my bike. She is real big on putting money away and i try to tell her we need to enjoy it for who knows waht lies the next day.

My wife.

huh?? if you wanted a 300....why didn't you just buy a K-9?
Well when you are buting pre-owned you can't get everthing just waht you want. I got a one of a kind deal on this bike and the K9 is a hair bit longer on the controls and my feet sit just perfect if not a hair short with shifting with the tip of my toe.

Thanks.

Damn Raywood, I thought maybe there would some type of conversion like for the HD's where the put a 300 on one that used to have 180 or 200. I guess the answer is that its not that simple.

Thanks.

Unfortunetly not on these rides. Enjoy your scoot as it's my favorite model. Do you have the forward control extensions on it???

No extended forward controls. I am 5'8" tall and when I get on it sometimes I have to skutch back up a bit to feel ok.

Thanks man. She likes to save but spends too, if I could sell her shoes and purses I could probably buy another bike. But I think everyone knows how that goes. She has backed me through all my 1/4 drag cars, sports bikes and now this.
Will post some new pics up soon, maybe some with her on it. I only have my camera right now and hers has most of the pictures. She tends to take more pics than me.
