Big dogs are the hot rods of motorcycles they are suppose to ride ruff, vibrate, bark loud, and attract tons of attention it's all part of the experience just embrace it:chopper:

That baby is already yours. Says so right on the title ! I've had my pit for a few years now, and the only thing I've done is put steel braid on some of the hose. Oh and a little Velcro on the dash to hold my cell phone, so I can use the speedo app, cause the speedometer don't work! The point is, It's YOURS and you're the one counts!

Yeah already checked progressive shocks at revzilla will do more research.
I will take it for a ride tomorrow and see if it made a difference. im sure there will be a difference i could feel a difference just sitting on it after i adjusted it.
What tire pressure do you guys run? My Back tire was at 25 PSI and its super cold here now so im guessing its been almost thirty or more in the heat.

One word of caution. The progressive shocks come in regular and HD. If you are under 220 lbs get the regular or it will feel like a hardtail....

You remember which model you got?

They are standard Harley Shocks just can't remember the year.

I added a photo of them earlier in this post. im guessing there the ones that big dog used on the 2000 models. I'm not certain thou they might have been changed out? ?
Also i lowered the air pressure a little in the rear tire its not rock solid anymore im sure it will feel much better.

View attachment 37706 Hey Guys, Need Some Help

I realized the other day when i Jard my back, that i need to adjust the suspension on this baby.

I went and got the tool needed and jacked the bike up but not easy as i expected and looks a bit different then the video i found on the net.

I have added a pic so you know exactly what im dealing with.
When i use the adjustment tool the whole shock spins.

Help Please

Softest ride is what im looking for
Ribs
Ribs,
The jam nut on the left is all the way up against the shock, that will cause the entire shock to spin. You need to back the jam nut off and then adjust the shock. Make sure both sides are even and tighten the jam nuts back up.
