A few members on here offer EHC testing for free, need to know what happened to it. It looks like this:

I just had a question about the fork rebuild... Sorry for posting on this thread but I was watching your video and you said that I could get parts on eBay which I did... It came with a thick rubber washer and two different o rings. I know where the washer and the big seals go but can't fin fire out where the bigger of the two I rings go... The smaller I know goes into the caps for seal in top... But I didn't get any bushings for the damper part and can't figure out where the thicker small rubber washer goes... Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You need the bushings you must have ordered the wrong kit.

The thick rubber washers go on the top fork cap. Although sounds like you may have got the wrong kit so not 100% sure

You will need to re-wire the whole bike if you want the Old School Chopper wiring. You can not just bypass the EHC with the Big Dog Controls and systems. If you put power to the ignition as you said in Axel's post, hope you didn't fry anything else.

How do you know your EHC crapped out?
I bypassed my EHC with the original BDM controls, you can get the bike running by running power from the battery directly to power the coil, I had a toggle switch to turn it on and off, the key switch just powered everything else, well what still was working anyway, so the best thing to do is replace your EHC with a ESC from Doc, never a problem since the install 2 yrs ago.

You are correct cdogg556,

You can bypass the EHC by using this method with toggle switch and key for everything else. This bypass only applies to the ignition system.

But I still highly recommend replacing the EHC.
