Well you can easily change out the main jet by taking the bolt out of the bottom of the carb bowl(turn fuel off and crack the bolt, let the fuel drain out)A wide flat head will remove the jet, you can look up inside the bowl with the bronze bolt removed from the bottom and see the main jet there, it will have a size stamped on it, and you can replace with one size up or down and see what that does. If it runs worse you can always replace the original jet back, without any problems. The Main jet is a very easy change. Even for someone not familiar. The intermediate jet is different, that requires the bowl to be dropped. But if it's running fine around town and in the low rpm range I wouldn't mess with it. I've always needed to retune when I mess with the intermediate. hopefully someone that knows a little more about the carbs will chime in soon
