I just put in a Shorai LFX36L3-BS12 in my 06 K9
Weight (lbs): 4.55 lbs
Weight (kg): 2.06 kg
Cold Cranking Amps: 540
I replaced a Big Boar battery, I turn the key, let the high beam run 30 seconds to get the lithium battery going and I have never heard the engine turn so quickly. I ran a Bikemaster in my 04 American Ironhorse for 3 years and had no issues, it was still going strong when I sold the bike. I run a Bikemaster DLFP-20HL-BS in my 17 FatBoy S with the 110ci CVO engine and a Bikemaster DLFP-30L-BS in my 17 Road Glide Special 124ci.
Of the 3, I like the Shorai, all of them have BMS's in them to prevent them from over charging or over discharging, I am replacing the DLFP-30L-BS with an Antigravity AG-ATX30-RS 880 CCA, the 124 RGS is a hard start when cold and that battery if 3 years old. It does start easier now that I adjusted the start settings with my Thundermax tuner, I just dont want to take a chance getting stranded hours away in the cold.
I pulled the Bikemaster DLFP-30L-BS and put it on my K9 and it started fine, however the Shorai LFX36L3-BS12 was turning the engine much faster in the S&S 117 K9. I use an Optimate Lithium 0.8A LiFePO4 Battery Maintainer to maintain the batteries.
I know these are not cheap alternatives but just giving you some other thoughts to consider
