Hi Slick117
Thanks for the info. it is nice to read, that (almost) everything is fine. The lite dimly indicators might happen when the software option "Low Light" is activated or it just depends of the different wiring what I made for the Europen market. This affect the pins A27 and A28 for the rear side indicators what are wired in my EHC to ground instead of the turn lights. A12 and A13 changed to brake light / rear light combination and A2 and A9 changed to indicators left/right. This is in the same way like the rear light connections at the 2004 models. Just change the wires of the both rear lights in this way and everything will work if the software option "Low Light Off" will not work. I hope to borrow an US model rear light from the local dealer here next week what will allow me to play with it and find out a solution. The next option could be an EHC only for the US market, what will have just a bit different wiring on the rear lights. I attach the manual of my D-Box, what is identical from the software. This will help to change the settings. The pdf is from my Netherland distributor. He makes a much better translation compare to my lousy english...
By the way, I have put 2 plastic spacers between the board and the box, what will lift the board and connectors a bit in the box. I attach a photo:

About the starter: The maximum current is 30 Ampere and the current limitation of the high side switch inside of the EHC will switch off the output if higher currents will flow. The high side switch inside of the EHC will switch on again when the short circuit is eleminated. However, the high side switch can heat up to 140 degree Celsius in a very short time before limiting the current. This could result in that the box is not waterprooved anymore after the short circuit due to the small gaps. This is often a problem in electronic boxes with high side switches. We made some experiments with different potting compounds and found one (Odopal) what is (...a bit) more flexible compare to other compounds. However, your box will work for many years without problems if you don´t intend to make a short circuit
The 2004 EHC will be ready in a few weeks if the boards will pass the final test next week.
Does somebody have a schematic of a 2003 model? Is it similar to the 2004 or different? I have an inquire for a 2003 EHC and just hope that the 2004 EHC will work as well, if ready...
All the best!
