How much extra Oil should I have to Scavenge the Old oil out completely? I would imagine you have to keep the oil full when running bike with the Scavenger on. also....What is the correct model number on the Scavenger unit for my 107?
I used about 1 extra quart.

Not exactly. If your bike takes 2.5-3 quarts for an oil change, start with that. Fill your reservoir up to the appropriate fill mark. Connect your scavenger or place your plastic bottle under the oil filter housing and start the bike. You wont need to rev it or anything. Just let it run at idle. This will allow the oil pump to pump out all the old oil and allow you to keep an eye out for the oil level. It may take 1/2 a quart or a full quart before all the old oil is out. As the bike pumps out the old oil, continue to add fresh new oil to the tank. Once you see the new clean oil start to come out of the scavenger tube or plastic bottle, turn the bike off. Put the oil filter on and check your oil level. Add oil as needed to the appropriate fill mark. Hopefully this answers your question.

"Steven Proctor, yes thanks. On these older models we dont have a dip stick or full oil marking. when i look in my tank, i see a metal rod that runs across the inside of tank, and the oil level is right below that rod. about 2inches from bung cap.

How do you do this without the scavenger?
You do not need to be two people... (but if you have a helper to hold the plastic bottle in place it will save you a possible mess on the floor)... I do have a "Cruise-Mate" on my bike... so, I start the engine and roll the throttle at about 1500 rpm... it takes less than (or about) one minute for you to see the new/clean oil coming out.
