Major clutch failure

That must have been some fuckin' hole shot! What'd you have Rosie O'donald on the back! My buddy had that happen to his 2005, but it also started itself up and rode off the kickstand, lit on fire, had a cracked frame, screws inside the intake came loose and jammed a valve open, chrome on rocker boxes flaked off, bolts holding his oil bag on where stripped out, etc...Big Dog fixed all that but he was still under warranty when it all happened. I'd go back to Big Dog, and send pics to Baker just for shits and giggles. If you look over on clubchopper.com there are a few Baker employees who are on there regularly.

No, it's not OK. He doesn't even own any tools so I do all the work on the bike, and every time I take a wrench to it I find something wrong. A local dealership here called Chrome Palace (now out of business) rebuilt the bike after it crashed itself, and they fought him tooth and nail about getting it done. The bike has all kinds of shit wrong with it. Last week I'm looking at his front brake line, it's tight like a fucking guitar string. They actually gave him a line that was like 2 inches too short. It's so tight I'm afraid that if he leaves the bike with the bars turned to the right it will break or pull out. That and his primary AND inspection cover were actually glued together with something that looked like yamabond or liquid nails. I had to torch it and use a rubber mallet, the shit was everywhere inside the primary, looked like a 2 year old put it on there. Loose blinkers, loose everything.

Do any of you guys know if running Redline MTL in the primary will cause clutch slippage? I know this is a bit off subject for this thread but it's sort of related. Thanks, BBD
I use Redline VTwin Primary fluid and it works great - I hear synthetic will cause slipping. The Redline stuff looks like ATF and of course its red! Also use their HD Shock Proof in the Tranny.
