The paint is really wacky and going right away.. also the flame wheels need not be shown lol
I'm not sure what that is..but it's not a BigDog Ridgeback. It's missing fender struts that doesn't mount the same. Fender, wheels and side covers are different. The forward controls are Harley which is not OEM for 2004.

Not saying that's a bad thing if you bought it for a grand but just trying to help you ID what it is. I think it will be a cool ride with a new paint job.
Just for shits and giggles type the VIN in on this site and see what it says.

It's not a ridgeback frame it any big dog frame for that matter that's what I'm saying. Missing some mounts that should be welded into the frame.Looks like someone did a build on a Ridgeback frame and he got it for a grand... fantastic deal.

Again nothing wrong with the bike. I'm just trying to help him figure out what he has.
And I'd buy it from him for a grand whatever it is...lol

just ride I hope you get many miles im sure it still looks good.Haha I've never been apart of a forum before wasn't aware of the intro section. Thanks for the responses.. I understand about everyone wishing it was an S&S.. but I also scored the bike for a grand. I'll take it all day and enjoy my first road bike
For a 1k I will take them all day

The most telling part is the oil tank on ridgeback are not under the seat like your bike. All of The BigDog Hard Tail's (Ridgeback and Pitbulls) has oil tank on the bottom frame of the bike. I can't fathom someone would do all that work and move an oil tank.
Not saying this to be negative or that's a bad thing if you bought it for a grand but just trying to help you ID what it is. I know if it was mine id want to know what it was..I think it will be a cool ride with a new paint job.

Yup. The frame is flattened out on the bottom behind the pipes. No BDM. Price was right tho....It's not a ridgeback frame it any big dog frame for that matter that's what I'm saying. Missing some mounts that should be welded into the frame.

hell yes you cant even buy the wheels for that.Yeah.. I am not a guru of identifying these things, but I'd spend a grand on a running bike n e day of the week.. well this one n e ways
I know the wheels are ironhorse for sure, they are the same wheels I had on an LSC.. hated em! LolBy the looks of the foot controls especially the rear brake reservoir ad looking at the oil tank it appears to be an ironhorse frame and controls.
