Running rich

Ok. I've been searching the threads and I want to find out if anyone knows of a way to get the front and rear plug close to the same color. I know the front is going to be richer but it's drastic. Very sooty on the front one. And very grey on back one.

There shouldn't be very much difference, they are feed by the same carb after all. Rear runs hotter sure. Not much leaner. Id look airleak or shit on intake valves etc if the difference is dramatic.
But I know shit anyways.

I had it at one point where they were pretty close to the same burn but it was running really lean so I've got it to run better but there is a big difference between the front and rear plug I have been through spraying carb cleaner and trying to see if there is a leak in the intake but nothing. I couldn't get the bike to run Rich when I started I readjusted the Jets went from 66 and 28 to 68 and 32 adjusting the carb I finally got it to run Rich so I slightly readjusted The jetting and went to a 31 and it was backed lean again so I went up to the 32 and left it there I decided to bump up the main jet in a small increment so I went to a 70 and 32 huge huge difference bike runs like a bat out of hell I have not played with the air bleed screw and I'm not sure if the piece in the card that everyone says to take out is still in there I pulled the plugs yesterday after a long ride and I was just a little rich on the front and lean on the rear as I said. I'm going to pull the plugs tomorrow and post pictures

Someone explain why I'm wrong. One carb feeds both cylinders with the same mixture, so both should be lean or rich? Only difference is rear cylinder running hotter.
Could your engine breath heavily from crank case to carb, hotter cylinder burns the oil better? Or is that a stupid idea?

I dont think that your year bike has the restrictor plates in it.
After reading a fair a bit about different exhausts I believe that it is the exhaust that causes the rich/lean condition.
Google RB racing exhaust and have a long read.

Paul.

PS: I think you should still up the main jet. Do Google search how to check plugs for each circuit. (Intermediate and main)
