Good to hear that it may not be at that bad. Hopefully it will be a quick fix and get you back on the road very soon. See that you have an 2006 Mastiff, the recall is for 2004-2005 VR, however there is the possibility that even yours could have had an old VR installed during the production. I think they made the change in Dec 2005 if I recall right.

When you get it confirm and fixed, please do let everyone know if the VR was one of the recall or if by chance the ugly head is showing on latter years also.

Bring it over to us at Carl's whe you get the chance this week. Ohmster will be there till Saturday or Sunday and he would like to see it. The guy's from the factory service center brought plenty of parts so he can probably get it up and running for you.

We are there by 9:00 every morning (except today, we're going for a ride this morning and probably won't make it till around 11:00 or 12:00).

:cheers: :cheers: from what i saw and heard on Sunday, BDM is trying its best to be as stand-up a company as you would ever see in the USA. in my opinion, they cross way over the line of being fair in favor of the customer. yes, there are times we wish they would do more for us, but in all fairness, they need to make a dollar too or they will not be there for us in the future. Well Said, many thanks to Scott that went out of his way to help me get my Speedo fixed and Jason "ohmester" that made it fast and painless. And also Nick for getting in the photo with us all and answer questions and being a regular guy - yes, BDM does care and that is what separates them from the rest. I hope your right! As bad of a time to lose the dog it might be a blessing in disguise due to the fact that these factory reps are right here in my back yard and by all appearences seem willing to step up. I will keep all posted on what happens thurs. I really appreciate all the imput this board is the best.

I'm excited to see the outcome of this. I bought a big dog not because they're the most radical or best looking of the customs...I got one because they get SERVICED. If we all spread the word about how stand up they are that should really help sales. My buddy just bought an 08 (I think) mastiff special edition and traded off his AIH all because I gave him the scoop on AIH going under and he's seen how quick my dog has gotten fixed when stuff has messed up. Keep up the good work Big Dog!

Of all the places I have driven for, I never got to take the items in the trailer for a demo.

With this attitude, BDM will be in business for a very long time and many companies should look at what BDM is doing as far as customer service and follow suit.

It was probably the voltage regulator we had the same thing happen to a customer here, Big Dog should pay for it

As for the ride yesterday morning, took a new K-9, new Pitbull and an 07 Bulldog rode the loop and I must say it was great.
