Good day gents,
I'm having an issue with my 2006 K9 (carbed) doggo. So, I'll give you some context as to what brought me here as I'm always on here seeking advice or help on various issues but this time I'm hurting and anxious to get back on the road. So what happened was I met my father at a local business and then went to start my bike and nothing happened when I hit the run button (usually clicks) and then hit the starter button. Nothing, so I took the seat off and had seen that my cheap ass battery post had busted in half, my fault for not using solid posts, however my Pops was like well I've got a pair of pliers, we can get it running and you just ride it straight home. On the way home approximately 3-4 miles it dies about halfway there. So again I take the seat off to look at it and this time I notice that when trying to pliers my way back home again it will not do anything. In fact this time there's no red light on that box next to the battery and also, now all my indicator lights, turns, oil pressure, and neutral lights are all lit up, yet she won't do anything, no more click no more starting. I'm afraid I have fried something. I've been reading on here that these doggos have wiring issues and usually an aftermarket setup does the trick, thoughts, recommendations? As always, I'm grateful for any advice or criticism.
