The wife says I have to get one for her :argue: Occasional ride, trying to decide on the 12 or 18 inch. Can you hang the travel bag on the 12 inch bar? Unless Im on a trip that reqiuires a bag or The boss is on the back, It will not be on the bike, as I dont really care for the looks. If anyone has pics that would be great.

IMHO, if you're going to do it, go BIG.

Hell, you really need one on these bikes if you're going to ride them. You've got to strap your stuff to something.

That being said, I don't have one on mine yet. I just take the other bike if I'm going too far. LOL

I'll get one some day though, I'm sure.

Guess I'll try to get a couple more hours of sleep now. ( couldn't sleep tonight )

Hey Knot since you have a BDM bag, would it fit in the 12 inch or is it too long/high?

The bag is 15" and sits pretty high on the luggage rack.

On a 12" bar it would stick up over the top 3", and it may come off.

Or you could have a really trick bar made by Eric of Choppin Steel ...some of the guys on here have some really cool custom sissy bars. He made them all.

Oscar, let me just say on one trip we stopped in to see Rays Family and there was not enough room for a bag of walla walla sweet onions between the 2 of us.

Here are a few more pics:

I run a mini-sissy bar system for wife for around town.

I want a 18" w/ luggage rack and pack for weekends by myself.

When I take a weekend trip with the wife we leave with the cloths on our backs and a credit card. We mail our luggage to the hotels we plan to stay at and just have the hotels return mail it to our house. It generally shows up a few days after we get home. I got to say my wife has something here. She's got luxury travel down pat, knows how to take advantage of hotel services I didn't even knew existed.

Are those jackets or rolls on the front of your bike and Raywood's Chopper?

I'm looking for a nice roll for the handlebars / forks. I have a BDM tool bag down low on frame.
