I'm still here lol, I haven't been able to get back to it, it was rain, I've been working 6 days a week so have little time to look at it, I appreciate all the help, I'm not a drive by person, just don't have a lot of time . When I'm able to get back to it I will look at all the suggestions. Sorry I haven't been back on .

No I can't keep it inside, didn't have a cover on it, and it rained pretty hard, hopefully it's just water, will be back in town tomorrow so I'll have time to look at it.

Well I tried all the suggestions, speedometer is dry, pcb switches are dry, I have looked for fuses and can't find any, I am kinda lost, I can't find any water intrusion, at this point I'm thinking the ehc.

A BD in the rain without a cover will be a cranky if not caustic girlfriend. You have to keep her dry. You will be constantly chasing electrical issues. "Just water" is a big issue. At least Saran Wrap the bar controls and ignition area. But, it really demands a waterproof environment. Even the fork oil will become contaminated and fork issues will follow.

How can you tell if its the EHC ? I have an 09 Coyote, rode fine yesterday about 50 miles and 15 miles from home lost all electrical power. The battery is good for sure.

What other symptoms, besides shutting down, did your bike exhibit? Lights ? Horn ? is anything coming on when you turn the ignition on ? Are there any lights on the EHC ?
Start your troubleshooting at the battery check voltage key-off and key-on. Then check while hitting the starter, with key-on..Let us know what your readings are.
Then fusing/breakers, then wiring.

There are no lights on the EHC. Battery voltage is 12.8 V with key on or off. Didn't check voltage when hitting start as nothing comes on at all. don't have any fuses that I know of did have power to the one breaker I know of. no power to ignition at all

Voltage is a tad low, Try operating the breaker off, then back on. See if you get lights, and power to ignition.

Just replaced the breaker last month, new one doesn't have the reset button. but I could bypass with a fuse. Battery was a tad low but I sat on the side of the road for several hours waiting on a ride home. I'll put the EHC back in and try bypassing the breaker
